The initial form is deliberately narrow and does not accept files, credentials or payment.
Which platforms and reports are supported?
RangeState reviews MT4 and MT5 Strategy Tester reports, StrategyQuant exports and supporting account-history or live-monitoring records. The exact usable formats are confirmed after the initial request.
Do you need my EA source code?
No source code is requested through the initial form. The normal scope uses reports, settings manifests and recorded assumptions. Any separate code-review need would require a new written scope and secure transfer process.
How are proprietary files handled?
The initial form accepts descriptions only, not files or credentials. Any reports needed after triage are requested through an agreed secure channel and used only for the stated assessment.
What will I receive?
The agreed scope determines the detail. The output records observed metrics, calculations, evidence supplied or absent, customer-defined scenario results, material limitations and reproducible retest steps.
Can a backtest prove an EA will work?
No. A backtest describes one model of historical conditions. It cannot reproduce every future regime, execution event or behavioural change.
Will RangeState tell me whether to trade or deploy an EA?
No. RangeState does not recommend buying, selling, holding, trading, deploying or stopping an investment or strategy. It does not select a broker, prop programme, risk level or capital allocation.
What do Supported, Limited and Unsupported mean?
They apply only to a written technical proposition and the supplied record. They are not quality badges, suitability findings or instructions to trade.
Can RangeState independently review Portfolio A or Sovereign EA?
No. They are RangeState-owned work, so an internal assessment is not independent. Their public pages are research records only; an independent assessment would require an unrelated third party.
Does a technical review guarantee future performance?
No. Historical and simulated records cannot reproduce every future market, cost or execution event. Performance can change materially or fail.
